Wild Rose Mala Bead Necklaces
Wild Rose Malas began in Denver, Colorado in 2018. Jackie (maker & owner) learned mala necklace tying from her teacher, Sarita, of Tibet Imports in Denver, CO. Malas have been traditionally worn & used by yoga practitioners & meditators. In modern times, all types of people have been drawn towards the power and support of crystals used to design & create mala jewelry.

A traditional mala necklace is crafted using 108 beads, a guru bead, and a tassel; though Wild Rose Malas will oftentimes craft mala necklaces with beautiful pendants or create "petite malas" which are 72 bead necklaces. The number 108 holds significance as it represents spiritual completion. When practicing mala bead meditation, one can repeat a mantra or prayer 108 times to achieve a peaceful state & tune into spiritual connection with The Universe, The Divine Feminine, God, etc.
The practice of mala necklace tying invites a meditative state & energy that gets carried into the pieces. Wild Rose Malas necklaces are created with intuition (yin), research (yang), and a lot of heart & soul.
